Welcome to the By The Way Hostel and Campsite website
First of all, why the name ‘By the Way’? Simple, we are right beside the West Highland Way, In fact you can sit having a coffee in our hostel dining room and watch the Way walkers pass less than six metres away. Hence, we are literally ‘By the Way’.

The aim of By the Way is to provide a variety of good quality budget accommodation for hillwalkers, climbers, outdoor enthusiasts, and of course West Highland Way walkers. We have a number of accommodation choices available to you. If you're on a tight budget then you can always pitch your tent. If you’d prefer more home comforts try our purpose-built four star backpackers' hostel. In between we have basic European style trekker huts with heat, light and comfortable beds. |

By The Way is a family business, owned and run by keen outdoor enthusiasts. You can therefore expect hillwalker-essentials like a good drying room, an indoor campers' kitchen, a bike shelter, a tent drying area and a good supply of blister ointments, plasters, bandages and sympathy!

Three people in a hut £45.00
Four people in a hut £50.00
